About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Utilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our company's utilities and systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all regulatory and audit requirements associated with the Utilities Maintenance department are met, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Contractor Management: Effectively manage 3rd party contractors, ensuring that all work is carried out to the required standards and that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain current, technically correct, and up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for engineering and maintenance activities.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Utilities Maintenance team, ensuring that site utilities and systems are maintained to the highest standards.
  • KPIs and Reporting: Own and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting metrics for utility assets, ensuring that all necessary data is collected and analyzed.
  • Maintenance Schedules: Ensure that maintenance schedules are met, and all work carried out is properly documented.
  • Workmanship Standards: Ensure that team workmanship standards are met to agreed standards, maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified in an electrical, electronic, or mechanical discipline (City & Guilds, BTEC, or Degree).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years post-apprenticeship experience or 2 years post-graduate experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate experience leading teams, coordinating, planning, and executing work.
  • Continuous Improvement: Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, creating a sense of urgency to deliver change and drive business growth.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate reports.
