Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the implementation of financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead the Accounting & Finance team in Oxford, providing strategic guidance and direction.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies to ensure compliance and risk management.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a successful audit process and maintain a strong relationship with stakeholders.
- Support the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, working closely with senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
- Advise on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, providing expert guidance to the team.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience in a leadership position within the Accounting & Finance department, with expertise in financial systems and process management.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
