**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality quantum dot products.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Quantum Dots Synthesis**: Synthesize colloidal quantum dots for commercial orders, including setup of manufacturing stations, QDs synthesis using wet chemistry, QDs cleaning and purification, and packaging of the products.
  • **Quality Control**: Carry out quality control of synthesized QDs, including measurements of absorption and photoluminescence profiles, photoluminescence quantum yield, TGA, DLS, FTIR, etc.
  • **Scaling Up**: Assist with scaling up production by conducting laboratory experiments, pilot scale-up tests, and commercial trials to ensure the successful introduction of new processes.
  • **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain detailed records of the work done and create and revise technical documentation.

**Requirements**

  • Proven expertise in chemical synthesis, with a preference for experience with nanoparticles/quantum dots, organic/organometallic or inorganic synthesis.
  • Industrial experience is advantageous.
  • Eager to join a deep tech start-up.
  • PhD in either chemistry or material science.
  • Strong knowledge of materials characterization techniques, including UV-vis-NIR spectroscopy, PL measurement, TGA, FTIR, TEM, and SEM.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in chemical synthetic skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
