About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team at AB Agri as a Process Improvement Technician. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Monitor and report on the progress of improvement initiatives, ensuring goals and priorities are met.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to make informed decisions.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Provide technical support to operations teams to resolve process-related issues.
- Develop and implement troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality.
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality through training and continuous improvement efforts.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, or a related role in the feed milling industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Desirable: Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, Lean Manufacturing certification, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
