Prospero Teaching is partnering with Local Councils and SEND teams across the UK to provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.

We are seeking a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status to provide support in the core subjects of Maths, English, and Science to pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education.

Due to the nature of the students we support, applicants must have experience tutoring core subjects and working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students in Maths, English, and Science
  • Work with students who are not currently accessing mainstream education
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the needs of each student

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months tutoring experience
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
  • UK classroom teaching experience
