About the Role
RAC Motoring Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our rapidly expanding Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) team. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on light vehicles, including diagnostic and technical work
- Work independently as a mobile mechanic, covering a defined geographical location
- Support safety recall campaigns and contribute to the growth and development of our SMR division
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
- Practical working experience within the motor trade, working with different types of light vehicles
- Customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
