About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our multidisciplinary care team at Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care under the guidance of the MultiDisciplinary Team (MDT) and in accordance with patient care plans.
  • Monitor and report on patient needs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Supervise junior staff and engage in ward audits to maintain KMPT and national ward standards.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide person-centred care to adults with a wide range of mental health needs.
Requirements
  • Experience in healthcare, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work at a challenging pace, be self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic.
  • Interest in initiating therapeutic engagement with service users and a person-centred approach to care.
