Exciting Graduate Structural Engineer Opportunity
Location: Bristol and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and ambitious graduate with a strong degree in civil or structural engineering to join our successful and well-established civil and structural design consultancy near Bristol. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work on a variety of projects, from conception to completion, using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry. Our current workload spans across residential, commercial, industrial, and leisure type buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on design projects, collaborating with the drafting team and gaining experience in all aspects of the design environment.
- Get involved in project management, developing your skills and knowledge in this area.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and effective design solutions.
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- A strong degree in civil or structural engineering (a 2:1 or first-class MEng is preferable).
- A working knowledge of CAD (advantageous but not essential).
- Ability to work on site occasionally.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
