Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Warehouse Operative to support our day-to-day operations within our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, operating a forklift for stock movement, and performing basic Pre-Delivery Inspections to ensure equipment is functional before shipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Goods Receipt and Dispatch: Follow established procedures for receiving and storing goods, accurately preparing and packaging goods for dispatch to clients, and ensuring proper documentation and labelling.
- Warehouse Operations: Ensure the efficient organisation and maintenance of the warehouse, operate a forklift to load, unload, and move goods, and maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels, reporting any discrepancies.
- Basic Equipment Checks and PDI: Perform simple checks to ensure goods, including printers and other equipment, are in satisfactory condition before dispatch, and carry out basic Pre-Delivery Inspections to confirm functionality.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols in warehouse operations, including the safe operation of forklifts and handling of goods, conduct regular safety checks on warehouse equipment, and report any hazards or maintenance requirements.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all documentation for goods in and out is completed accurately and complies with company policies, assist with stock audits, and ensure compliance with internal processes.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
- Valid forklift license.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects in line with safety guidelines.
