Financial Support Specialist

Pure is delighted to be partnering with an excellent business based in Witham to find a skilled Financial Support Specialist to join their team on a 9-month contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly payroll and manage the payment run process, including weekly and monthly runs.
  • Ensure bank accounts are reconciled daily and balance sheet reconciliations are completed, including intercompany balances at month-end.
  • Circulate timesheet analysis and chase line managers for incomplete or inaccurate time recording.
  • Maintain subcontractor compliance and apply CIS where applicable.
  • Prepare accurate HMRC submissions, including PAYE, VAT, CIS, and P11D.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Assist the Commercial Finance Manager and Head of Finance with financial analysis as required.
  • Streamline and drive continuous improvement to gain efficiencies in the finance team.
Requirements:
  • AAT qualified or part qualified in ACCA/CIMA.
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll and management accounts.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A can-do attitude.
  • Clear communication skills.
