Lecturer in Community Learning Courses

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer to join our team at Ashford College. As a Lecturer of Gas and Plumbing, you will be responsible for teaching, training, and assessing students in a variety of learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
Your role will involve providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and leading on designated study programmes and/or courses. You will be responsible for ensuring the design, delivery, and evaluation of programmes, with a focus on delivering engaging and innovative lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and train students in Gas and Plumbing
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Design and deliver high-quality learning programmes
- Provide support to learners to achieve their maximum potential
- Lead on designated study programmes and/or courses
Requirements:
- Highly organised and creative individual
- Ability to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Experience of teaching or delivering training in the workplace (although this is not essential)
- Ability to motivate learners to achieve and succeed
