Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers
  • Lead on Community Care work, including health and social care judicial review and ancillary applications
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members
  • Manage and supervise Solicitors, Trainee Solicitors, and Caseworkers to manage appropriate caseload types and complexities
  • Deal with correspondence, maintain accurate time costing procedures, and implement recommendations made by supervisors
  • Ensure compliance with file management and maintain a professional pro-active approach

Key Skills:

  • Valid Practicing Certificate at the time of applying
  • Previous proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators
  • Excellent client care skills, analytical and organizational skills, and ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of the publicly funded Community Care work and ability to service privately funded cases
  • Experience in dealing with Wills & Probate related work and own advocacy is an advantage
  • Excellent IT Skills - familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills
