About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Leonardo, a leading innovator in developing cutting-edge software solutions for state-of-the-art radar platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software for radar platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate software with firmware and hardware, ensuring seamless system operation.
  • Contribute to the development of continuous enhancements for operational safety, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in low-level embedded C programming, with experience in developing software for Arm and Intel SoC platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge of RTOSs like VxWorks or embedded Linux, with experience in testing and integrating software with firmware and hardware.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols and device driver development, with a strong understanding of system architecture and design.
