About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our young people.

You will be responsible for providing individualized support and care to each young person, including assisting with daily living tasks, participating in activities, and promoting independence.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable, and able to work as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to each young person
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Participate in activities and outings with the young people
  • Support the development of life skills and independence
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people
Requirements

We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children and young people, and who is able to demonstrate the following skills and qualities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the needs of children and young people
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
