We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Lovell, a leading provider of mixed tenure affordable homes. As a key member of our North Regeneration team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality housing development and regeneration projects across Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities- Support project delivery while achieving target margins
- Ensure all necessary contractual processes are observed, notices issued, records kept, and documents stored
- Prepare and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts, including measurement and variation account management
- Conduct site visits to monitor subcontractor activity and build up payments
- Collaborate closely with site teams and clients to develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Formal qualification in a relevant subject
- Previous quantity surveying and NHF SOR experience within the construction industry
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work against tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Excellent communication, numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
