About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation and Verification Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing control and protection systems for our HVDC technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control and protection systems for HVDC technology
  • Conduct simulation studies to ensure system reliability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials
  • Travel internationally for assignments and training

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field
  • Experience with control and protection design and testing
  • Proficiency in EMTDC/PSCAD software
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Experience in digital technology, signal processing, and control system design
