Job Opportunity: Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our dynamic team at Medteam. This role is an exciting opportunity to work within the community, making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need of mental health support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assessment, Planning, and Delivery of Care: Manage care plans from initial assessment through to discharge, tailoring support to individual needs.
  2. Collaborative Care Planning: Work closely with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate person-centred care plans.
  3. Support Recovery Journeys: Empower and assist individuals on their recovery journey, providing therapeutic interventions where necessary.
  4. Community Mental Health Support: Engage with mental health service users in community settings, advocating on their behalf and supporting their independence.
  5. Team Supervision: Provide supervision and support to non-qualified staff members, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
  6. Mental Health Act Knowledge: Maintain a basic understanding of the Mental Health Act to support care planning and service delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  1. RMN Qualification: Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  2. Community Mental Health Experience: Previous experience working with mental health service users in a community setting is essential.
  3. Advocacy Skills: Ability to advocate for individuals using mental health services.
Benefits:
