Role Responsibilities:

As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and servicing of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they meet the required standards for safety and performance.

Your duties will include preparing vehicles for MOT tests, working independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues on various types of vehicles and machinery. You will also be tasked with diagnosing and rectifying faults, and participating in emergency and winter maintenance operations as necessary.

This position offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your career within a large public sector organization, providing exposure to a diverse range of vehicles, from cars to larger transport units, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Potential Additional Earnings:

  • £3,000 annual Market Supplement for Level 3 qualified Technicians, subject to conditions.
  • £2,000 additional annual Market Supplement for those holding an Automotive industry recognized Level 4 Advanced Vehicle Diagnostics qualification.
  • £3,000 OTE additional earnings during the winter season, subject to standby Rota participation and callouts.
