About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Mecca Bingo Venue in Luton as a key member of our culinary team. As a Culinary Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest levels of quality and safety in food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Work efficiently to minimize food wastage and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Ensure all food safety checks and record keeping are up to date and accurate
  • Support a productive and efficient working environment and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ensure the kitchen is always clean and tidy, and that all equipment is used safely and efficiently
  • Report any accidents or near misses through the correct channels
  • Uphold the company's commitment to protecting young and vulnerable people, in accordance with the responsible gambling policy and procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a culinary or food preparation setting
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines
  • Flexible in working shifts and as per business requirements
