About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Moon Recruitment. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing and pricing schedules for bespoke joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to prepare pricing documents
  • Collaborate with the Estimating Team to determine the best approach for each project
  • Develop pricing schedules and estimate folders, filling out relevant information for the estimating team
  • Price projects using product knowledge, pricing information, and pricing matrices
  • Identify and mitigate risks on high-risk schemes, discussing with Senior Managers as needed
  • Submit prices to clients, attaching relevant promotional literature and video links
  • Attend tender review meetings with main contractors as required
  • Review orders to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying any discrepancies
  • Hand over documents to the Project Delivery Team, including budget information and estimating notes
Requirements
  • Experience in estimating for bespoke joinery projects
  • Strong knowledge of pricing matrices and estimating software
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Estimating Team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
