Electrical Design Engineer

Our client, a leading international engineering consultancy, is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Defence team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents, ensuring compliance with design standards and practices.
- Manage design changes and present design substantiations to safety committees, applying engineering knowledge to design, develop, and maintain engineering processes and systems.
- Develop Examination, Inspection, Maintenance & Testing schedules and safety reports, utilizing theoretical and practical skills in design stages.
- Apply specification skills for HV and LV networks, justifying design modifications and ensuring familiarity with industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of design standards and practices, with experience in assessing electrical equipment and specification skills for HV and LV networks.

- Experience in multi-discipline projects, with knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and safety case related training.
