We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Night Care Worker to join our team at CrossReach. As a senior staff member, you will provide Christian leadership and support to our 26-bed residential care service, working three nights per week, including weekends, on a three-week rolling rota.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of care workers and oversee the care provided to service users
- Ensure high professional standards are maintained, including assessing service needs and conducting audits
- Administer medication and promote equality and effective communication
- Assist with staff recruitment, training, and performance management
- Provide management cover when required and lead daily devotions
- Handle Health & Safety responsibilities and maintain a safe environment for service users
- Hold an SVQ 3 in Social Care or equivalent
- Have relevant experience, including medication administration
- Basic computer skills are required
- Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registered with the SSSC
- Have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos
