As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing technical advice to our clients across a wide range of projects, including international expansion and restructuring, transatlantic structures, mergers and acquisitions, tax governance and control, finance / tax technology transformations, and domestic and international tax issues relevant to the professional practices sector.
About the Role:
- Provide technical advice to clients on a range of tax matters, including international expansion and restructuring, transatlantic structures, mergers and acquisitions, tax governance and control, finance / tax technology transformations, and domestic and international tax issues relevant to the professional practices sector.
- Manage the year-end tax processes for the largest UK headquartered and US inbound law firms, giving you invaluable insight into the heart of our clients' operations.
- Work closely with our Global Employer Services, VAT, Tax Depreciation, and Transfer Pricing practices to co-ordinate tax advice and develop key issues across other taxes.
- Lead client relationships across our international network by supporting and co-ordinating services from multiple locations.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to grow our business and deliver exceptional client service.
- Contribute to the development of our team, mentoring and coaching junior members to help them grow in their careers.
About You:
- ACA, ATT, CTA, or equivalent qualifications.
- UK corporate or personal tax experience gained within a practice firm, a legal firm, or industry.
- Experience of working with professional practice partnerships or private businesses and a strong interest in advising professional practice clients.
- Strong technical skills across a broad range of corporate/individual tax areas.
- Experience of owning a portfolio of clients and the ability to form and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong people/leadership skills and experience of developing others.
- Commercial awareness and the desire to understand your clients' businesses.
