Job Description

Job Title: Secondary School Supply Teacher

Job Type: Temporary

Location: Braintree and surrounding areas

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Secondary School Supply Teacher to provide general cover across our supportive Secondary Schools. As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, supervising pupils, and ensuring effective behaviour management in line with school policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to pupils across the KS3/KS4 and sometimes KS5 curriculum
  • Supervise pupils and ensure effective behaviour management
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to meet the needs of pupils
  • Provide cover for absent teachers and support the smooth running of the school

Requirements:

  • Availability for standard working hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Prior experience working in schools teaching English and Maths
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Subject specific qualifications
  • Full time availability
