Role: Technical Services Director

Reporting directly to the VP Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Exo-s' manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to champion the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of our global manufacturing vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster collaboration and communication between plant engineering, product development, tooling development, automation & robotics, reliability, and process innovation teams.
  • Establish a standardized framework for optimal manufacturing procedures across all plants.
  • Harmonize plant requirements and define best practices to ensure consistency and excellence in our operations.
  • Disseminate technological advancements and knowledge throughout the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce maintenance time and enhance production efficiency, ultimately contributing to cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.
Desired Profile:

We are seeking an individual who possesses both technical expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a dynamic environment where collaboration and innovation are paramount.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a specialization in robotics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Technical proficiency in automation and tooling is highly advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of the plastics industry, including blow molding and injection molding processes and equipment.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, coupled with the ability to effectively manage projects and resources.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, ERP systems, and project management software.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish and French are valuable assets.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a willingness to travel as required.
  • Knowledge of ISO IATF 16949 standards is an asset.
