Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biopharmaceutical Process Development Scientist to join our team at Zoetis. As a key member of our process development team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of downstream bioprocesses for the production of biopharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement downstream bioprocesses for the production of biopharmaceuticals, including chromatographic and filtration processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements and optimize bioprocesses.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior colleagues and contractors.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including protocols, SOPs, and technical reports.
- Participate in process validation and qualification activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or Biochemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in downstream process development, including chromatographic and filtration processes.
- Strong technical knowledge of bioprocesses, including cell culture and purification processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
