Position Summary: We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Support & Compliance Engineer to become a vital part of our team. The compensation for this role begins at £30,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Support & Compliance Engineer, your primary duties will include:

  • Planning and facilitating product testing both internally and with external testing agencies as necessary.
  • Participating in design reviews to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Reviewing and approving internal testing plans and reports.
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable CE directives and maintaining compliance.
  • Constructing and managing technical construction files.
  • Conducting product design reviews against human factors and risk assessment standards.
  • Collaborating with ILS specialists and engineers to fulfill customer ILS requirements.
  • Ensuring product compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Developing and implementing customer factory and site acceptance protocols.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive product documentation, including operator manuals, maintenance guides, and illustrated parts catalogues.
  • Consulting with illustrators and engineers to refine procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A thorough understanding of engineering principles with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of customer requirements and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in IT skills.
