Fire Extinguisher Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team at Your Recruiters Limited. As a Fire Extinguisher Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of fire extinguishers in various locations throughout the East Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test fire extinguishers to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance on fire extinguishers, including cleaning, replacing parts, and refilling or recharging as needed.
  • Record keeping and documentation of inspections and services performed.
  • Installation of new fire extinguishers in buildings or facilities.
  • Provide training to building occupants on the proper use of fire extinguishers and offer consultations on fire safety practices.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel around the East Midlands.
  • Enhanced DBS application required upon commencement of employment.
