Project Engineer / Technical Support Specialist

Role Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing project management and technical assistance for a diverse range of products. Your role will encompass:

  • Addressing customer support inquiries through various channels including phone, email, and support tickets.
  • Evaluating and testing new software prior to customer release.
  • Facilitating software installations via remote access and during on-site visits.
  • Managing projects that involve on-site commissioning of new systems both domestically and internationally, as well as training clients and supporting sales initiatives.

Candidate Profile

We welcome applications from both entry-level and seasoned professionals, particularly those with experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or general manufacturing sectors.

  • Self-driven with the ability to collaborate effectively in team settings as well as work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for work assignments.
  • Solid technical comprehension.
  • Proficient in Microsoft operating systems and Office software.

Preferred Qualifications

While training will be provided, familiarity or expertise in the following areas will enhance your application:

  • Manufacturing processes, particularly in textiles (e.g., spinning, weaving, knitting) and plastics (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming).
  • IT competencies including networking, database management (Oracle/SQL Server), Microsoft Windows Server OS, XML, HTML, SQL, Power BI, cloud systems, virtualization, and scripting.
  • Knowledge of additional foreign languages.
