Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections and performing preventive maintenance on various mechanical and electrical systems.
- Addressing equipment malfunctions and emergencies promptly to minimize downtime.
- Diagnosing issues and executing repairs on machinery to maintain operational efficiency.
- Managing inventory by ordering necessary components and tracking supplies.
- Adhering to industry regulations and safety standards to ensure compliance.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance strategy for the organization.
- Establishing and documenting maintenance protocols and procedures.
- Promoting a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines.
- Exhibiting strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Being a dependable and adaptable contributor to the team.
Qualifications:
- Experience with capstans is preferred.
- Possession of an electrical qualification such as ONC, A Levels, City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC National Diploma Level 3, or an equivalent NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
- Background in installation work for both electrical and mechanical systems.
Compensation:
The hourly wage ranges from £14.00 to £17.00, commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
This position operates on a day shift from 07:30 to 16:00, Monday through Friday, including two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid meal break.
