We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a friendly primary school in Mitcham. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to a student with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to a student with SEN, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Adapt teaching materials and techniques to accommodate the student's needs.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the student's learning journey.
- Experience working with children who have SEN.
- Experience of working with or caring for children, preferably in a school setting.
- A clear DBS, if you do not have a relevant DBS, we can apply one for you.
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and initiative-taking individual who can use their skills and experience to make a positive impact on the student's life. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs, we want to hear from you.
