Job Title: Backend Magento Developer

We are seeking an experienced and talented Backend Magento Developer to join our team at Jago Consultants.

Our client is a market-leader in their field, developing their own software product for the E-commerce market. The role is a full-time permanent position, with the possibility of working from home due to current COVID conditions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building in-house modules, back-end functionality, third-party system integrations through APIs, and ongoing site bug fixing. Basic front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JS is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop back-end functionality for Magento modules
  • Integrate third-party systems through APIs
  • Perform ongoing site bug fixing and maintenance
  • Optimize Magento performance and security
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration
Requirements:
  • Experience with Magento development
  • Strong understanding of back-end development principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: £25,000 - £35,000
  • 22 days holiday
  • Standard working hours: 9:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
