We are seeking a Finance Support Assistant to become a vital part of our management accounting team.
In this role, you will report directly to the Construction Finance Manager and assist the management accounts team with various transactional tasks and reconciliations.
We offer internal pathways to nurture and develop talent, aiming to cultivate our future Finance Manager. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and reconciling corporate credit card transactions.Key Responsibilities:
- Process receipts for corporate credit cards.
- Conduct daily bank postings and perform bank reconciliations.
- Manage direct debit accounts, ensuring expenses are allocated to the appropriate nominal codes.
- Handle specific ad-hoc purchase invoices as needed.
- Maintain and reconcile subcontractor retention amounts.
- Assist the Finance Manager and Management Accountant with designated projects as required.
Some prior experience in accounting is preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with basic functions.
Communication:
- Capable of effectively conveying information to finance personnel at all levels.
- Participation in a discretionary bonus scheme, distributed biannually.
