Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team in the North Kent area. As an Assistant Store Manager at Aldi UK, you will play a key role in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining high store standards.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Management: Oversee all aspects of employee management, development, and performance, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Operational Excellence: Demonstrate a strong operational mindset, making informed decisions to drive business growth and minimize costs.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining consistent high standards and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Leadership and Development: Foster a culture of leadership and development, motivating employees to achieve their full potential.
- Cost Control and Sales: Minimize costs and optimize productivity, driving sales growth and achieving business objectives.
- Communication and Collaboration: Regularly communicate with the Area Manager to ensure best practice in sales development, stock control, and financial management.
- Competitive Salary: £35,625 rising to £43,440* after 4 years.
- Flexible Working Hours: 32/36/40-hour contracts available, worked across 4 days or 40/45-hour contracts worked across 5 days.
- Annual Leave: 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 5 weeks after 2 years.
- Training and Development: Full training provided for the first 3 months, continued support throughout your career with Aldi UK.
