As a Student Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to engage with students who experience difficulties in their academic journey.
These students often exhibit disruptive behaviors both in the classroom and throughout the school, struggle with emotional regulation, and require guidance to help them realign their educational path.
You will be expected to adopt a 'firm-but-fair' approach, provide a secure environment, and leverage your personable and resilient nature to assist them in achieving success both behaviorally and academically by addressing the underlying causes of their behavior.
This role will also provide you with the chance to collaborate with senior leadership team members and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator, as well as various professionals such as Educational Psychologists.
