We are seeking a skilled and organized Sandwich Artiste to join our team at one of our independent schools based in Harrogate.
Permanent 52-week contract working 40 hours a week, 5 days out of 7, on a shift rota - 6.00am to 2.00pm and 11.30am - 7.00pm
Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer, working with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community.
We are looking for a positive, honest and reliable employee to join our friendly and hardworking team. We can offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will support the chef team in preparing cold food and hot meals for the school and specifically deli-style sandwiches for the cafe and dining hall.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in a similar role and environment
- Highly organized and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment
- High standards of food hygiene and following the rules of health and safety
- Excellent customer service and social skills
- Responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff and children front of house
- Can-do attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
- Customer-focused
- Basic food knowledge
- Willing to participate and enjoy working as part of the team
