Electronics Engineer - Key Responsibilities

La Fosse is seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to contribute to the development of electronic systems for a leading Global Aerospace company based in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and analyzing electronic circuits for new products, ensuring alignment with available technology, reliability, cost, and schedule considerations.

Key Tasks:
  • Design and develop electronic circuits for new products, considering technology, reliability, and cost.
  • Architect electronic products, including the development of their overall structure.
  • Apply Common Circuit Blocks to new products, adhering to Electronics Strategy.
  • Conceptualize electronics solutions for bids and proposals.
  • Investigate electronics faults to the component level, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Formulate electronics sub-system specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams across different locations.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in electronic circuit design for new products, considering technology, reliability, and cost.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve electronics faults to component level.
  • Familiarity with electronic component supply chain and certification standards is desirable.
  • Proficiency in complex analysis and hardware design skills in Electronic Engineering are essential.
  • Familiarity with electronic control of brushless DC motors is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of power electronics and power supply design is desirable.
