Facilities Caretaker / Cleaner - Norse Group

Position: Facilities Caretaker at a Primary School Compensation: £28,20 pro rata Equates to £13.94 per hour Weekly Hours: 15 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Norse Group is a facilities management provider delivering essential support services across various sectors, including cleaning and maintenance. We are currently seeking a dedicated Facilities Caretaker to join our established team at a Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the premises and grounds are maintained to the highest standards under the guidance of an area supervisor. You will manage the equipment and supplies necessary for your duties, including inventory management and safe storage practices.

Additionally, this position encompasses site management responsibilities, where you will assist with general maintenance tasks and ensure site security, along with performing minor handyman duties as required.

Required Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial; however, Norse Group is committed to providing comprehensive training and support for motivated individuals who can demonstrate the following qualities:

Ability to deliver exceptional customer service Confidence in working independently as well as collaboratively within a team Strong interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients Comfort in engaging with the public Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the role is advantageous
