Job Description:

Farrans (Construction) Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Placement Civil Construction Engineer to join our team. As a Placement Civil Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking surveys and setting-out on site, preparing drawings and calculations to ensure quality control and compliance procedures are adhered to for engineering, monitoring construction progress to ensure that deadlines are being met, coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and other parties involved in the construction project to ensure that all work is completed according to specifications, and ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake surveys and setting-out on site.
  2. Prepare drawings and calculations to ensure quality control and compliance procedures are adhered to for engineering.
  3. Monitor construction progress to ensure that deadlines are being met.
  4. Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other parties involved in the construction project to ensure that all work is completed according to specifications.
  5. Ensure that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

Requirements:

  1. Studying a Civil Engineering Degree.
  2. Hold a full UK driving license.
  3. High attention to detail coupled with meticulous planning and organisational skills.
  4. Demonstrate a strong interest in all aspects of engineering and looking for a dynamic workplace that provides an outstanding career opportunity.
