About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Social Worker to join our Safeguarding and Care Planning Team as their Team Manager in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Social Workers in the Safeguarding and Care Planning Team
- Develop and implement effective strategies to protect children from abuse and maltreatment
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the provision of safe and effective care for children
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the resources needed to work effectively with children and families
Requirements
- Post-qualifying experience in managing a Safeguarding Team or extensive Children's Social Work experience
- Experience within Looked After Children or Duty and Assessments is highly desirable
- Registration with Social Work England is required
