Licensed Practical Nurse

**Job Summary**
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide exceptional resident care, taking into consideration their physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological health needs. The LPN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care within the LPN Scope of Practice.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assess and plan resident care to meet their individual needs
- Implement and evaluate resident care plans to ensure quality and safety
- Function as a team leader and provide direction and supervision to Resident Care Workers
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services
**Requirements**
- Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province
- Successful completion of a recognized Practical Nursing Program, including pharmacology, health assessment, and medication administration
- Certification in Safe Resident Handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
