Key Responsibilities

Our commitment lies in delivering the highest quality service to our patients while ensuring that the workday remains manageable and fulfilling for our team. We have established an 'On the Day' team model, which includes General Practitioners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, and nursing staff, all collaborating within a duty hub. Additionally, we conduct Planned Care sessions, typically involving 25 patient contacts throughout the day, with designated time blocks for examinations, administrative tasks, and breaks, allowing GPs the autonomy to structure their day effectively.

About Our Organization

Our practice is situated in a modern facility with a picturesque view, serving a growing patient base of over 15,000 individuals. You will be welcomed into a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team, which comprises General Practitioners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Nursing staff, Care Coordinators, and Social Prescribers. We also operate a branch site in a nearby village and have recently refurbished a section of our facility.

Our Clinical Pharmacy Team oversees medication adjustments, inquiries, and reviews, in addition to managing repeat prescriptions. Our skilled Care Coordinators have optimized numerous processes to alleviate GP workloads. Our Visiting Advanced Nurse Practitioners handle the majority of home visits, and our experienced Nursing Team includes Registered General Nurses, Nursing Associates, Assistant Practitioners, General Practice Assistants, Healthcare Assistants, and Phlebotomists who manage our Chronic Disease Clinics.

As a Training Surgery, we contribute to the education of future doctors, hosting Medical Students from Year 2 to GP Registrars. We are also affiliated with the Southwest Clinical Research Network and are currently engaged in various studies.

Collaborating with two other local surgeries, we are part of a broader Primary Care Network, working alongside other practices in the area to provide additional services, including enhanced access clinics and vaccination programs.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience as a General Practitioner in Primary Care.

Desirable

• Familiarity with Emis Web.

• Full GMC Registration and MRCGP qualification.
• Current inclusion on the Performer's List, with no history of removal for detrimental reasons.
