About the Role:
- We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team on a night shift basis.
- As a Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
- You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care and promote recovery.
- Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for mental health nursing and a commitment to delivering excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably on a night shift basis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic patient records.
