About the Job

The Austin Company of UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Manager and Contracts Specialist to support our construction team in delivering complex Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences projects across the UK.

We design and construct heavily serviced and complex buildings for our expanding and established client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the project management lifecycle and technical knowledge of building engineering systems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a team of in-house designers and construction management professionals to deliver projects from pre-tender to commissioning. They will be responsible for coordinating project requirements with the client team, reporting regularly, and maintaining accurate written records.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and interact directly with trade subcontractors
  2. Coordinate scope at pre-tender, pre-construction, and construction stages
  3. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the client team

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and building engineering services. They will be able to work from our UK Head Office in Watford and occasionally on construction sites. A full UK driving licence is required.
