Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation of an assigned area, ensuring compliance with H&S, production, quality, cost, delivery, technical compliance, and HR standards.
  • Collaborate with other shift and department leaders to deliver and exceed key performance indicators.
  • Continuously improve processes using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure Quality and Compliance at all times.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Previous experience in FMCG manufacturing operations, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and achieving compliance and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Ability to interact with customers and lead audits.

Training and Development:

  • Core training and procedures.
  • Level 4 Food Safety certification.
  • Relevant site and area policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Lean management and root cause analysis tools.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, using effective interpersonal styles and understanding different management approaches.
  • Ability to create a high-performance culture, encouraging improvement suggestions and rewarding innovation.
