Lloyd Barnes Accountancy Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join their team. This is a permanent, part-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
As the Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations function within the finance team. You will also provide accounting support directly to senior management and the broader Finance team.
The responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness through thorough checks and reconciliations.
- Enter financial transactions and manage the general ledger.
- Process payments and manage cash flow.
- Effectively manage financial relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Keep the financial records well-organized and up to date.
- Collaborate within the accounts department, adhere to deadlines, and assist with the month-end process.
- Reconcile financial statements and update daily financial reports.
- Support the preparation of financial analysis reports and the annual audit process.
The ideal candidate:
- Has a strong background in finance and accounting.
- Is proficient in financial software and systems, particularly Sage 200 and Microsoft Office.
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
