Position Overview

We are seeking an Interim Finance Manager for a dynamic organization.

This pivotal role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and serve as the second-in-command within the finance department. The successful candidate will take charge of the monthly financial statements, oversee weekly financial reporting, and provide insightful commentary on performance metrics for the broader organization. Additionally, the role will encompass various ad-hoc financial responsibilities.

To excel in this position, candidates must be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a proven track record in a fast-paced and adaptable work environment.

This role does not involve team leadership; instead, the focus will be on cash flow forecasting, month-end closing activities, and balance sheet management.

Proficiency in financial systems, particularly Excel, is essential. Familiarity with the Unit 4 system would be a distinct advantage. The role will require a hands-on approach, including detailed tasks such as transaction posting and report generation, so candidates should be comfortable with these responsibilities.

Availability for immediate engagement is crucial, as the organization is looking for a professional contractor to fill this role for an initial period of six months. The position will require in-office presence on select days of the week.
