**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 1 and 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students
  • Build positive relationships with students, teaching assistants, and other staff members
  • Manage challenging behavior in a proactive and consistent manner
  • Differentiate lessons to suit the needs and learning styles of all students
  • Assess student progress using various methods
  • Display high levels of enthusiasm, energy, and positivity when working with students
  • Work effectively with teaching assistants to provide the best possible educational experience

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service)
  • QTS and primary teaching experience
  • Experience of short, medium, and long-term planning
  • Experience of utilizing a range of methods to assess student progress
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
  • A positive and resilient attitude towards teaching and work
  • Experience of teaching within the UK
  • A genuine passion for teaching
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • A commitment to CPD
