Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Crane Engineer who prioritizes safety and possesses a strong problem-solving ability, both independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate will have a recognized technical qualification in electrical engineering and relevant industrial maintenance experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine service inspections on overhead cranes and hoists.
  • Understand and apply LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Engage with customers post-inspection to document next steps and prevent breakdowns.
  • Perform frontline maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
  • Carry out fault finding, retrofits, modernizations, and upgrades on cranes and hoists.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ3, HNC, HND, or C&G electrical engineering qualification.
  • Relevant experience in the crane and hoist industry.
  • Valid UK driving license.
