About the Role
We are seeking a distinguished Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for administering industry-standard forms of contract, managing commercial risks, and ensuring accurate cost forecasting and sales projections.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer industry-standard forms of contract, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage commercial risks, identifying and mitigating potential issues to minimize financial impact.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
- Provide commercial support to the project team, including cost management, risk assessment, and contract administration.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Educated to HND or Degree level in quantity surveying or a construction-related subject.
- Demonstrable commercial experience in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of administering industry-standard forms of contract.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately forecast cost and sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
